AddressWe are seeking a Reservations and Administration Support Officer to join our Operations Team at Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre.
Embraced by one of the world's most beautiful locations, the Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre is an enticing destination to introduce visitors to both the stunning natural beauty of the Daintree and the rich culture of the Kuku Yalanji people.
You will be a friendly and professional individual who will be greeting our customers and provide current information on tours and information about our Centre as well as making reservations and providing administration support to our operations team. Experience in Front Office and Guest Services is highly regarded.
Key Duties
- Management and distribution of all external phone calls including management of the boom gate intercom.
- Handling of all enquiries at the reception desk and maintenance of phone contact lists & contractor sign in/out.
- Assist with the distribution and collection of floats/cashier envelopes and other day-to-day resources for all departments.
- Assist with the day-to-day reservation enquiries, confirmations and bookings for Dreamtime Gorge Walks.
- Other administrative support as required with general office related tasks.

You will have:
- Experience in Guest Services or Front Office within the Tourism Industry.
- High level of communication skills and English speaking skills.
- The ability to think on the spot and problem solving skills.
- Experience in financial aspects such as taking payments in person and over the phone.
