Based in our Head Office, we are looking for a professional and personable individual to fill the role of Administration Assistant. This role provides administrative support to the construction administration support and wider construction teams and the Adelaide leadership team.
About the role:
Your experience as a seasoned business administration professional will enable BADGE to develop a best practice environment. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with the capability to handle multiple responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct phone enquiries with professionalism and warmth, greeting visitors and connecting them to the appropriate contacts.
- Preparation of the office environment, including preparing meeting rooms and organising catering services when needed.
- Provide administrative support to the Business Unit Manager, including diary and email management, reporting documentation, and other duties as directed.
- Data management of multiple reporting, databases, and registers, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
- Coordination and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail, and courier services to ensure timely deliveries.
- Administrative record keeping, scanning, word processing, minute-taking, and archiving, all in accordance with company policies, quality standards and timelines.
- General administrative duties as directed, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our construction and office operations.
About you:
To be successful in this position you’ll be highly motivated, adaptable and will thrive in building relationships with construction management professionals internally and externally.
Working with our close-knit team in Adelaide, you’ll feel supported from your very first day. You’ll need a sense of humour, a ‘can do’ attitude and a desire to impress others with your initiative.
This position is full time with flexible working arrangements available. You must have prior experience in an Administration position, a high level of computer literacy (including the Microsoft Office suite) and will be prepared to ‘hit the ground running’. Experience in construction industry or similar will be highly regarded and will open doors to future opportunities.
