The newly upgraded Flinders Medical Centre (FMC) Neonatal Unit offers 50 cots, private family rooms, overnight accommodation, and advanced medical facilities to support premature babies and their families. FMC is a leading healthcare provider in South Australia, known for its innovative Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and commitment to providing high-quality care to approximately 1,400 babies annually.
About the Role:
As the Administrative Assistant, your duties can include:
- Providing Administrative support to Neonatal Consultants;
- Assisting in medical staff and Nurse Practitioner rostering to ensure the Neonatal Unit has adequate medical cover;
- Assisting in the recruitment of medical staff;
- Preparing reports, draft correspondence, agendas and minutes for prompt distribution;
- Processing Timesheets; and
- Scheduling meetings
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Competence working with the Microsoft Office Suite,
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing,
- The ability to plan and prioritise work and meet deadlines,
- Ability to exercise discretion and confidentially in matters relating to patient information
