Central Highlands Regional Council is currently seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Administration Assistant to join our Water Utilities Team for a maximum term.
Based at the East Nogoa Water Treatment Plant, you will work in a fast paced and dynamic environment whilst utilising your existing skills to provide administration support across the department. You will be responsible for preparing detailed documents and reports, taking meeting minutes, completing procurement activities, responding to and escalating enquiries, organising meeting and completing general administration tasks.

In this busy role, you will support the organisation by:
- Completing a diverse range of administration support tasks including compilation of documents, reports, agendas and submissions.
- Assisting in diary management, meeting preparation, arranging travel, accommodation and attendance at events.
- Supporting the end to end financial services for the department eg: raising purchase orders, requisitions, credit card reconciliation.
- Liaising with internal and external customers, ensuring queries are escalated appropriately, resolved in a timely manner and providing exceptional customer service.

- Experience completing a diverse range of administration tasks in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work with conflicting priorities and deadlines.
- Autonomous and self-motivated with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (in particular; Outlook, Word and Excel).
- Minimum of Queensland C class provisional driver’s licence.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
