Our client is looking for an outstanding Administration Clerk who has experience working in warehouse environment, your day will consist of the following -
Key Responsibilities:
- Process manual and EDI orders by customer
- Able to assist afternoon team when someone is off
- Service of Truck drivers adhering to policies and procedures in line with COR
- Manage pallet control functions
- Respond promptly to customer emails and phone calls
- Auditing processes and documentation in line with organisational requirement.
- Liaising with external suppliers and ensure that purchasing for the site is within budget constraints
- and procedures.
- Reviewing tasks to optimise processes and develop best practices.
- Operating office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems, and use computers
- for spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and other applications.
- Performing other duties (ad-hoc) as required and assigned
- Prioritise safety in all elements of the role
Experience and Qualifications:
- Strong administration skills, with a high degree of initiative, professionalism, and reliability
- Flexibility to work morning and afternoon shifts as needed
- Experience within an Inbound/despatch office or similar
- Ability to relate other people beyond giving and receiving instructions: perform work activities
- requiring reasoning, negotiating, instructing, persuading, or speaking with others; with a strong
- written communication skill.
- Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Working effectively within the team as well as independently.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite including MS Teams, Word, and Excel
- Flexible and adaptable with an ability to adjust work priorities as needed
