The company’s head office is located in Quoiba near Devonport, on the North-west Coast of Tasmania, with our other Tasmanian branch office in Launceston. We are also located in Regional Victoria, with offices located in Newport, Melbourne, Corio and Geelong, as well as seven other depots located across the state.
The role
We are currently seeking an Administration Clerk superstar. This is a Full-time permanent position and working as part of an awesome team.
The successful candidate will require a high degree of accuracy and efficiency in all processing areas while operating in a professional manner. Excellent customer service is a must for the role when it comes to effectively and honestly communicating with fellow staff and customers in alignment with company policy.
Reporting to the Group Purchasing Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
• General administrative duties such as filing, archiving, scanning, photocopying and faxing
• EFTPOS processing
• Data entry
• Banking
• Basic account reconciliations
• Answering phone calls
• Leave coverage relief duties for other admin staff as required
• Other ad-hoc duties as required
About you
• Certificate II in Business (desirable)
• General Knowledge of administration functions
• Accurate and efficient keyboard skills
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and adhere to routine tasks until completed to required standard
• Self-motivated and have a high level of initiative
• Ability to work co-operatively and effectively in a team environment.
