Provide high level administrative support to the People & Culture team at Charles Darwin University (CDU)
About the Position
As an Administration Coordinator, you will provide high-level administrative support to the People and Culture (P&C) team and will ensure the smooth day to day running of the P&C office. Your duties will include:
- Provide support in scheduling committees, minute meetings and prepare agendas, action sheets and issue outcomes.
- Support the coordination of events such Service Recognition, Academic Promotions, Vice Chancellor’s Awards, Scholarships and P&C Programs.
- Effectively manage administrative office equipment and supplies, including stationery maintenance and orders for the office as required.
- Monitor and reconcile corporate credit cards, online requisitioning, process payments, journal transfers and invoices as required.
- Take responsibility for the senior staff rental salary sacrifice scheme – setting up residential tenancy agreements, drafting employee lease agreements and processing monthly rental invoices for a range of properties and assistance with staff relocations.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a Degree in a Human Resources or related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in an administrative setting and providing support to a multidisciplinary team maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Previous experience coordinating multiple activities ensuring accuracy and deliverables are on time.
- Proven effective time management and organisational skills including the ability to meet deadlines and work without direct supervision using initiative and sound judgement.
- Demonstrated experience implementing innovative solutions to operational issues.
- Previous experience managing an account payable function.
- Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills including the ability to liaise on issues with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team, meet deadlines and complete work with minimal supervision.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional level 5. The base salary will be in the range of $72,061 to $83,249 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $84,311 to $97,401 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
