About the role :
As part of a finance team of four and reporting to an experienced financial controller you will primarily be responsible for Accounts Payable, accounts receivable and payroll duties for our labour hire division with opportunities to contribute across our extensive group of entities.
This is an initial maternity cover for 12 months, with potential for a permanent role.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Raise sales invoices and manage collections
- Process Supplier invoices and process and reconcile payments
- Bank, Payroll & Supplier reconciliations
- Update and maintain customer & vendor database
- Support the month end process, including drafting of journal entries and updating GL reconciliations as required
- Ad Hoc Reporting and Analysis

Skills & Experience:
- At least 2 years local experience working in similar role
- Have studied in Australia at tertiary level
- Good communication and time management skills
- Intermediate computer software skills, including MS Office suite and Xero
- Ability work as part of a team
