An exciting opportunity exists for a Administration Coordinator - Medical Education to provide overall management of medical orientation for prevocational medical officers including all mandatory and professional requisite training. This role will be responsible for working across all campuses of the Hospital and Health Service.This role is responsible for ensuring that efficient and effective education services are supported by the provision of high-quality e-learning resources and a comprehensive and accessible web site.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage Resident Medical Officer (RMO) Orientation, facilitate the coordination of all orientation sessions, book speakers and attendees, track all mandatory and professional requisite training and communicate with Director and Executive Support Officers (DSOs and ESO's) and Resident Medical Officer (RMOs) for attendance and compliance of training throughout the year. Coordinate closely with Medical Administration and Rostering to ensure attendance of new medical officers while coordinating with clinical departments to ensure patient safety.
- Develop, design and produce interactive education on-line products in consultation with Medical Education officers and subject matter experts. These products may use interactive authoring, illustration, image editing, graphic design, scanning, digital video, and/or animation software to integrate graphics with text and audio.
- Work with Medical Education Officers to coordinate requirements for International Medical Graduates (IMG) including training, initial interviews and maintenance of training records.
- Maintain high level of knowledge of various industrial awards, legislation and directives as applying to training of medical officers with Queensland Health.
Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $110 852 p.a., comprising salary rates: $44.47 - $49.00 p.h.employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO4) (Fixed term temporary part time, 45.6 hrs p.f. for 6 months).
