About the role
As an Administration Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the organization by overseeing daily administrative activities and coordination office procedures. This role involves supporting the executive leadership team, optimizing operational processes, and maintaining effective communication channels within the office.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resource Management
- Work with external Human Resources firm to ensure effective processes and policies are compliant and up to legislative standards.
- Sourcing and coordinating staff training resources – internal and external.
- Liaising with Corporate HR and ensuring we are following the correct directives in AUS/NZ.
- Liaise with other managers to facilitate recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
- Work with the Senior Regional Director Australasia to be a Human Resource contact for employees.
- Onboard new employees by coordinating where required with outside HR Firm.
- Maintain communication with 3rd party recruitment agencies, when required.
- Offboarding staff members in a timely manner.
- Ensuring all employees are in the payroll system in time for the first payroll for the employee.
- Producing and Posting job vacancies on external websites.
- Maintains employee records and confidential information securely.
Office Management and Employee Engagement
- Responsible for coordinating staff events and social gatherings.
- Responsible for generally improving staff engagement and managing related activities.
- Identifying gaps in current process and finding solutions.
- Experience with WPHS policies and attending safety committee meetings.
- Researching and booking travel arrangements, when required.
- Prepares and distributes internal communications.
- Manages employee benefits programs, including enrollment and communication.
- Compiles reports relevant to the business, as requested by executive management team.
- Works to review and maintain the internal control documentation and participates in audits as necessary.
- Other Duties as assigned by Senior Regional Director Australasia.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Minimum 5 years in a Management or Administrative role.
- High level of skill using all Office 365 programs.
Location: Position requires the employee to work out of the Company’s Bundamba, QLD facility.
