Toowoomba Grammar School is looking for an administration superstar to provide high-level administrative support for the Executive Assistant to the Headmaster.
About Toowoomba Grammar School
Toowoomba Grammar School was founded in 1875 and is a member school of the Great Public Schools Association of Queensland (GPS). It is an independent non-denominational day and boarding school for boys with a total enrolment of 1,200 from Preparatory to Year 12. There are approximately 300 boarders in the School coming predominantly from throughout Queensland, Northern New South Wales and the Northern Territory. The School’s campus covers 20.5 hectares and is located one kilometre from the centre of Toowoomba.

About the Position
The Administration Officer provides high-level administrative support for the Executive Assistant to the Headmaster and indirectly to the Headmaster, Executive and Toowoomba Grammar School Board of Trustees. The Administration Officer will support the management of daily operations of the Headmaster’s Office ensuring efficient communication and coordination among various departments and stakeholders within the School’s Community.
Selection Criteria:
The successful applicant will have:
- experience supporting senior staff, project management and/or event management experience with proven office administration and customer service skills;
- highly developed interpersonal skills;
- proven experience in exercising a high level of discretion and confidentiality;
- a high level of organisational and time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- capacity to work autonomously with minimal direction and collaboratively in a team environment;
- ability to prioritise workload, set priorities and multi-task with a high level of attention to detail;
- excellent written and verbal communication skills and advanced computer literacy skills, particularly the use of Microsoft Office Products; and
- a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
