The Mater Hospital Administration team has an opportunity available for an experienced Administration Officer to join their team working in our Allied Health, Emotional Health and CVI Administration Team on a casual basis.
Salary range: $29.53 - $34.28 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900
What you’ll be doing
- Providing Exceptional Customer Service to patients and clients
- Booking and managing outpatient appointments in TAHDIS (Team Allied Health Data Information System)
- Register and update patient details in iPM
- Invoice/receipt patients in Totalcare and using HICAPS
- Manage phone calls from patients and clinical staff taking a variety of enquiries
- Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality, complying with administration, and
financial policy and procedures - Maintaining accurate, current and accessible files
- Provide administrative assistance to senior admin staff and others as requested
About you
To be successful in this role you will meet the following in the following:
- Must be able to work autonomously as well a team
- Ability to learn and retain a lot of information quickly (this position will be working across all receptions listed above)
- Must be flexible and adaptable
- High level of customer service, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, organise and prioritise work effectively within a busy, fast-paced, demanding environment
- Highly developed time management and organisational skills
- Strong computer skills including competence in Administration systems (and the ability to quickly learn new systems)
- Ability to use programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel
