About the role
As a Administration Officer (Job Creation and Data Entry Officer), you will play a vital role in the successful execution of the Fire Ant Eradication Program. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing your day-to-day duties within a strong team environment for the timely and accurate delivery of operational outcomes as it relates to job creation, data entry and analysis to support.
- Provide administrative support to the Job Creation and Reconciliation Unit Supervisor
- Monitor and edit data for accuracy and maintain electronic and hard copy records, raising data issues where required to ensure data integrity in accordance with department standards.
- Use judgement and problem solving when undertaking allocated tasks and non-routine request to meet timeframes, competing priorities and quality requirements.
- Acquire and sustain a working knowledge of relevant information systems.
- Participate in user acceptance testing, troubleshooting and provide feedback to FAMS or other relevant system upgrades to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of job creation and data entry.
About You
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:
- High level data entry experience.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel, are essential to effectively manage data.
- Experience in ArcGIS or similar technical programs (e.g., AutoCAD) is highly desirable, as it will aid in interpreting geographical maps.
- Australian full working rights are a must.
