About Us:
Acelect is an established electrical business which has been operating for 16 years. We are looking for the right applicant to join the team as soon as possible to assist with everyday Administration/Operations and bookkeeping needs of the business.
We are seeking an honest and reliable person with a proven track record for attention to detail and problem solving skills, to ultimately support the continual growth of the business.
About the Role:
This is a casual position requiring approximately 18-21 hours per week and its focus will be to provide ongoing Administration/Operations and Bookkeeping support for Acelect and some other online companies and trusts.
The applicant does not need to have prior experience in bookkeeping necessarily, although would be an advantage, as training can be provided if required.
Working days and hours can be flexible to suit the applicants needs within a Monday to Friday range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoicing
- Receipting supplier invoices
- Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Bookkeeping and BAS preparation, including reconciling, payroll, STP and Super
- Processing client account applications
- Booking of staff flights
- Employee licence management, as required
- OH&S online management, as required
- Management of insurance claims, as required
- Improve and update company policies, procedures, systems, forms and employee inductions, as required
- Assistance with improvements to business operations/business building, as required
- Professional and efficient processing of correspondence
- Other administration and accounts related duties as required.
Applicant requirements:
- At least 2 years previous administration experience
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent time-management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A strong work ethic and a positive, friendly attitude
- Possess strong computer skills
- Be able to take direction but also able to work unsupervised
- Self-motivated, mature attitude and a team player
- Current Police Certificate with no prior convictions.
Advantages but not mandatory:
- Prior experience in bookkeeping duties
- Prior experience in MYOB
- simPRO software experience
- myOSH software experience
Package on offer includes:
- Casual Position (Approximately 18-21 hours per week between Monday and Friday)
- $34 per hour plus SUPER
