The Administration Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive, efficient and effective administrative, patient and clinical support services to facilitate the operation of Drug Health Services across South Western Sydney Local Health Districts.Where You'll Be Working
- Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is located in the city of Bankstown and is in one of the most multicultural local government areas (LGA) in Australia. This hospital has tertiary affiliations with three universities and offers a range of roles and experiences to employees.

- Experience working within a Drug Health Service and/or a similar administration and customer focused role in a complex organisation as an effective and professional team member.
- Understanding of, and commitment to providing excellent customer service and proven ability to maintain strict patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve in day to day operational matters and initiate action with minimum supervision.
- Willingness to assist senior officers in complex tasks or projects to achieve office and service efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and organise own work within a diverse, multidisciplinary team, taking into account the impact on others to achieve results to meet deadlines.
- Experience using a wide range of computer hardware, software and electronic systems, including, but not limited to Excel, Outlook, Word, EMR and Health Roster to complete work activities.
- Willingness to travel to other Drug Health sites to meet service needs.
- Must possess a valid Australian Drivers Licence (excluding learner driver's licences). If not already in possession, a NSW Drivers Licence must be obtained within 3 months of appointment.
