The
Kids Cancer Centre at Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick provides a comprehensive service for the diagnosis and management of children and adolescents with cancer and blood disorders. The
Care Navigator will provide administrative support to KCC Consultants and their teams in a timely, efficient and professional manner to enhance the efficiency of the KCC department. The
Care Navigator will provide patients and families with logistical support by coordinating tests and treatments, streamlining appointments and minimising travel where possible.
What you'll be doingThe

- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service
- Professional attitude, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Experience dealing with patients and families in a hospital environment
- Competency with computer software, including Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel etc)
- Medical administrative experience desirable, including knowledge of medical terminology
