Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is recruiting for a permanent full time Administrative Officer to complement and enhance the team within the department.We are seeking a driven administrator who is looking to become an integral part of the team at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital – Administrative Officer - Outpatient Services, you will require outstanding administration skills and be highly organised in your work.You will be passionate about customer service and be a great communicator who can easily speak with a range of stakeholders including patients, clinicians, executives and your team. To provide effective, efficient and high-level clerical support to the Outpatients Department as well as an exceptional standard of customer service to patients and visitors at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital.This position requires a highly organised, self-motivated individual who is capable of managing a diverse range of administrative duties and ability to undertake decision making in day to day operations for Outpatient Services. The position works in an exciting but challenging dynamic team environment.Where You'll Be Working
Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is located in the city of Bankstown and is in one of the most multicultural local government areas (LGA) in Australia. To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible. * Demonstrated experience in a frontline customer service role with excellent reception skills and customer service including appropriate telephone manner and a patient-centric approach to service provision.

  • Demonstrated experience managing competing work priorities and workflow within allocated resources and timeframes.
  • Proven problem solving and conflict negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft programs and the ability to quickly learn new systems such as patient administration systems.
  • Demonstrated capacity to exercise confidentiality and discretion in relation to patient data at all times.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment and under minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to support and promote new ways of working and how Outpatients delivers services
