Job Title: Administrative Support Officer
Location: Ipswich QLD (Office-based)
Reports to Skilling and Diversity Manager
About the Role:
Skilling programs are projects dedicated to helping Queenslanders develop the skills and qualifications they need to find employment. We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Administrative Support Officer to join our team in Ipswich. In this role, you will provide vital support to the Project Team, ensuring the smooth operation of the project and contributing to its success.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and clerical support to the Project Team, including:
Managing project files and documentation electronically and physically.
Scheduling meetings and appointments.
Preparing meeting agendas and minutes.
Organising travel arrangements and logistics for project activities.
Maintaining accurate project expense budgets.
Assist with project communication and data management:
Drafting and formatting correspondence, reports, and other documents.
Maintaining project databases and spreadsheets.
Responding to inquiries from project stakeholders and participants.
Assisting with the development and distribution of project materials.
Liaise with external stakeholders, including training providers and participants.
Will be required to visit project sites to provide support and collect data.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Skilling and Diversity Manager.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience in an administrative or participant support role.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
A passion for contributing to positive community outcomes and supporting individuals seeking employment.
A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the region is desirable.
