The Administration Officer is based at the Macquarie Regional Library Regional (MRL) Office in Dubbo and provides accurate, efficient, timely and effective administrative support services for the MRL service. The MRL encompasses the Local Government Areas of Dubbo, Narromine and Warrumbungle.
DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Control and reconciliation, including annual reconciliation, of the branch libraries petty cash and till floats
- Collation of the branch libraries timesheets and leave forms
- Collation of selected library statistics as required by the due date
- Collation of scheduled reports including quarterly and annual reports
- Undertaking of the branch libraries weekly delivery boxes process
- Assist in any other administration matters, including monitoring and reporting, as requested and directed by the Manager MRL
You are an administration professional, with highly developed organisational skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
- Certificate III or higher in Business Administration or experience commensurate to the qualification
- Demonstrated experience in office management including accounts payable, cash handling, stores control and telephone reception
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Demonstrated commitment to provide quality customer service
