Administration Officer - Psychology Clinic

The Opportunity
We are seeking to appoint an Administration Officer - Receptionist in the School of Psychological Sciences Clinic in College Services which is part of the Division of the Chief Operating Officer.
As our new Administrative Officer - Receptionist you will work as part of the Psychological Sciences Administration team to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the University Psychology Clinic.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide high-level reception service for members of the community presenting to the Clinic adhering to strict ethical guidelines regarding confidentiality, maintain the Clinic booking system and referrals.
- Provide high level administrative support to the Clinic Director, Clinic supervisors and provisional psychologists to contribute to the smooth operation of the Clinic.
- Provide transactional financial services, including HiCaps and Eftpos facilities.
- Contribute to enhancing business systems, policies and procedures of the School, College and the wider University by actively participating as a School champion in the review, development and implementation of these initiatives.
- Maintain a confidential and secure client record system in accordance with University policies and the APS Code of Ethics and guidelines on storage of client records.
- Apply a Lean methodology to your work, identifying and implementing continuous improvement.
Your Application
To be successful in the role, your application will need to demonstrate:
- A diploma level qualification with relevant work-related experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Ability to perform administration tasks with a high degree of accuracy, and to prioritise workloads
- Excellent interpersonal skills that enhance an ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, using discretion and sound judgement
- Ability to work collaboratively and harmoniously in a team environment, contributing to team planning and shared tasks with confidence and sensitivity towards others
- A high level of computer literacy, including competence in the Microsoft 365 suite, and experience with other database operations
Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 4 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $83,807 pro-rata comprising base salary within the range of $67,617 to $71,630 plus 17% superannuation.
