John Pearcy Audiology is an independent Audiology clinic in Carina (QLD). We are currently looking for a Permanent Part-Time Administration Officer / Receptionist.
Duties & Responsibilities
The position involves answering client enquiries via phone, email and in person, booking appointments, preparing invoicing and billing (in Xero), taking payments, processing Medicare and HICAPS claims, processing deliveries, cleaning and repairing hearing aids, and other tasks as required by the clinic audiologists.
Skills & Experience
The applicant must be reliable, diligent, trustworthy, punctual, flexible, have excellent communication skills, good computer skills, relate to people of all ages and have the ability to work in a client focused environment. Acute attention to detail, strong customer service skills and high level organisational skills are a must. The ability to quickly acquire new skills, including repairing hearing aids and using specialised clinic appointment and invoicing software systems, is essential.
Previous administration or customer service experience in the health sector would be highly valued, but is not essential.
The position is part-time (3-4days per week) 8:30am to 4:30pm. Occasional Saturday morning relief work may also be required.
