About the role:
The Supporting Minds Service provides psychological support services to adults (16+); experiencing moderate emergent decline in mental health as a result of situational distress, or youth (12+) and adults (18+) identifying as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer, Asexual, Pansexual and other diverse identities (LGBTIQAP+) requiring culturally specific support in the Gold Coast Region.
The Administration Officer works within a dynamic team providing administrative support to Mental Health Services for the Gold Coast region. This role is based at our Arundel hub and is responsible for supporting day to day administrative functions of the team.
About you:
- Proven experience working in a similar role and environment.
- Demonstrated administration skills with understanding of administrative processes and the ability to develop and maintain effective, efficient administration/information systems.
- Demonstrated effective written and high-level oral communication skills with empathy, tact and discretion and ability to build rapport quickly and develop relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to positively work as part of a small team with minimal supervision and in an environment requiring flexibility.
- Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to drive in the course of work.
