About the role
The Administration Officer plays a pivotal role in coordinating and delivering office administration activities across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. It also has a significant role in CHN’s day-to-day operational delivery, workplace culture and values.
This position delivers routine administration support and plays a key role in project support and process improvement activities to enhance the effectiveness of routine and complex processes.
About the team
The Administration Officer sits within the Corporate Operations Team which collaboratively delivers a range of key functional services including office coordination, human resources management, risk, compliance and governance, Workplace Health and Safety, information technology and continuous quality improvement.

As the Administration Officer, you will be a passionate and dedicated administrations professional with a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills and an ability to manage competing priorities in a job share arrangement.
Using your strong communication and relationship management skills, you will engage with staff on a range of areas such as travel, conference bookings, membership administration, general reporting, administration support, secretariate and supporting staff events.
As our processes and culture are built on continuous improvement, you will have an opportunity to apply your creative thinking, contemporary office coordination skills, analytical problem solving and working knowledge of a range of software and systems, to improve and support business operations.

Work location
This position has been designed so that you can successfully perform part of your role from the comfort of your home office if desired, and part or all of your work from our corporate Deakin office in Canberra.
This is a part-time, job share position (22.8 hours per week). We support flexibility at CHN and are happy to work with the successful candidate to ensure work-life balance, whilst ensuring the successful coordination of the job share arrangement.
