A great opportunity is now available with an international cotton trading house, well established in Australia and with an excellent reputation. Sourcing cotton directly from growers, they then coordinate the export to all major consuming markets globally. They now seek an Administration and Operations Coordinator to join their small team.
The Position
As Administration & Operations Coordinator your role you will be to:
- Carry out bookkeeping and banking utilising MYOB software
- Prepare and coordinate logistics, including sea freight bookings, shipping documents, container packing and export compliance efficiently and in a timely manner
- Maintenance of inventory database
- Liasing with growers, internal and external stakeholders
- Uploading of classing data, RCTI generation / dissemination to grower
- Stock valuation – during season
- Weekly Classing Data and Daily position data to Switzerland
We are keen to hear from you if you possess the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in business, logistics or similar
- Experience in MYOB software
- Advanced MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Access database skills
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- A proactive, customer focussed, and results orientated approach
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both autonomously, and within in a team in an at times, high pressure environment
- Exposure to agriculture and or background in the sector highly regarded
