Covering an expansive geographical area which includes the Central Coast, Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore, Catholic Schools Broken Bay is a system serving 45 Catholic Schools with around 17,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12.
About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Executive: Eileen O’Connor Catholic School, the Administration Support Officer will provide strong administrative support and focus on the school services for the Eileen O’Connor Catholic School.
This is a permanent full-time position. It will be initially based at Pennant Hills and the role will move to the physical School upon its completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing executive support to the EOCS leadership team
- Maintaining a high level of professionalism and care when handling confidential or sensitive matters
- Ensuring a high level of accuracy and maintenance of administrative records that meet statutory requirements
- Coordinating administrative tasks required to support the School
- Being the first level of contact to triage issues and concerns; liaise with new families and or job applicants; respond and/or escalate to the Principal (or delegate) any communication with CSBB staff; and handle incoming enquiries from members of the Parish and wider community
- Collaborating with the Parent Engagement Coordinator and School Marketing Officer to provide effective service to enhance engagement, family support and school community experience
- Supporting the Principal in fulfilling responsibilities for staff recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, and changes to existing employment arrangements
- Attending to other administrative tasks that may be required

- Supportive of, or can demonstrate an understanding and commitment to, the ethos of the Catholic faith in an educational context
- Displays a friendly and professional manner with various stakeholders
- Holds strong administrative experience working within a fast-paced or School environment
- Can work independently and also within a team environment
- Maintains a strong attention to detail and consistently delivers with accuracy and care
- Has a solutions-focused mindset
- Is highly adaptable and can re-prioritise tasks when required
- Demonstrates highly organisational and multi-tasking skills
- Has advanced skills and knowledge in using the Microsoft suite of products
- Consistently maintains a high level of professionalism when handling confidential and/or sensitive information
Qualifications
- Tertiary certification/qualification in administration or customer service and/or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any combination of education, training and/or experience
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence (and own car required)
