Your opportunity:
To provide strategic direction, leadership, and coordination of administrative services to meet the current and future clinical support needs to enable the Intensive care, Women's and Peri-operative service and Allied Health Service to meet their demands and challenges.
Your role:
- Provide high-level administration advice on human resource management, industrial relations and workforce change management, as well as monitoring and reporting on the stream's positions filled and unfilled via Full Time Equivalent hours (FTE) and financial budget.
- Coordinate, manage, and provide expert advice and assistance to administrative staff in the completion of administrative duties and resolution of problems encountered.
- Provide advice, guidance, and ongoing training to subordinate staff in relation to ROPP, Medicare Billing, Referral Management, waitlist management and other administration related processes. In the absence of clear direction, give guidance on how to proceed prior to following up with appropriate agency.
- Accountable for providing strategic development, refinement, implementation, and evaluation of continuous quality service improvement strategies for the Division in line with Queensland Health policies; and strategic/operational directions of the Directorate, Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service.
