Administration/Customer Service Officer

About The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic person with strong office administration and customer service skills for our Virginia despatch office. This is a key role where you will bring your attention to detail and can-do attitude to work side by side with existing team members. You will have support from a dedicated team in sales, marketing, accounts and warehousing which will allow you to excel in your role.

Duties include:

• Preparing picking reports for pickups and deliveries
• Scheduling of outgoing freight
• Serving trade customers including processing sales orders, generating invoices & stock enquiries
• Receiving incoming calls & emails for orders and/or general enquiries
• Processing payments (cash, eftpos/credit cards)
• General administration as required

Skills & Experience:

• This position would suit someone who has had experience with building materials and/or logistics.
• Excellent time management
• Ability to multi-task
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and internet use
• Experience with software for processing sales and dispatching of goods
• Experience in warehouse distribution/stock movement highly regarded
