Administration / Customer Service Officer

Smith & Co Recruitment is currently seeking an Administration / Customer Service Officer for our client located in Brendale who is an established leader within the Timber manufacturing and distribution industry. 

The position is casual full-time offering $34 per hour, the hours of Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm, and view to permanency for the right candidate.  

Key Responsibilities:

This position primarily involves the processing of customer orders, communicating clearly to customers, providing updates on the availability of product and delivery dates and ensuring accurate invoicing, as well as: 

• Liaising with customers via phone and email 
• Responding to and handling customer enquiries and complaints 
• Providing timely delivery updates to customers
• Maintaining records of customer interactions and transactions
• Using of SAP to process incoming customer orders 
• Checking inventory levels to verify that the ordered products are available and managing of any back orders 
• Liaising with internal departments including production and dispatch as required 
• General Administration and Data Entry duties as required

Requirements:

• A minimum of two years experience in Administration
• Previous Customer Service experience will be desirable but is not essential
• Previous experience with SAP will be advantageous 
• High level of communication skills and attention to detail 
• Excellent time management skills 
• Intermediate computer skills 
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
• Ability to be proactive and self motivated 
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment
• Flexibility to adapt to change in priority of tasks  
• Current Drivers Licence 
• Current Forklift Licence will be desirable but is not essential 
• Two work related contactable references
