Smith & Co Recruitment is currently seeking an Administration / Customer Service Officer for our client located in Brendale who is an established leader within the Timber manufacturing and distribution industry.
The position is casual full-time offering $34 per hour, the hours of Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm, and view to permanency for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
This position primarily involves the processing of customer orders, communicating clearly to customers, providing updates on the availability of product and delivery dates and ensuring accurate invoicing, as well as:
- Liaising with customers via phone and email
- Responding to and handling customer enquiries and complaints
- Providing timely delivery updates to customers
- Maintaining records of customer interactions and transactions
- Using of SAP to process incoming customer orders
- Checking inventory levels to verify that the ordered products are available and managing of any back orders
- Liaising with internal departments including production and dispatch as required
- General Administration and Data Entry duties as required
- A minimum of two years experience in Administration
- Previous Customer Service experience will be desirable but is not essential
- Previous experience with SAP will be advantageous
- High level of communication skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Ability to be proactive and self motivated
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Flexibility to adapt to change in priority of tasks
- Current Drivers Licence
- Current Forklift Licence will be desirable but is not essential
