About the role
We are on the hunt for a driven and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant and to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you will be working closely with Financial Advisers to provide exceptional service and support to our clients. As an organisation with a strong focus on coaching and development to provide career progression, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Planning student or recent Graduate seeking to further their experience in the industry.
Success in this role will require exceptional time management and organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities and a genuine desire to learn.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Liaising with clients and providing superior service
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Maintaining client files and lodgement of these
- Greeting clients and managing reception responsibilities
- Managing Adviser diaries
- Performing a range of administrative duties to support advisers and the broader office
- Keeping track of outstanding client requirements and pro-actively following up
- Checking, lodging and following up all client applications and recommendations.
- Complete client research to support preparation of Statements of Advice.
- Accurate preparation of client forms in a timely manner
- Respond effectively and quickly to client enquiries
- Positively participate in business improvement objectives to support overall growth of the business
Our Ideal Candidate will have:
- Experience within a similar role (preferred)
- Good knowledge of the Financial Planning sector
- Experience with XPlan software (preferred)
- Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
- Excellent presentation and a polite, professional manner
- Strong attention to detail
- A committed and caring attitude focused on productivity, quality service, team goals and outcomes
- A desire to learn and grow
