- Provide conduit to Administration function throughout the hospital, ensuring hospital-wide Administration procedures are adhered to within the respective ward/clinical area.
- Foster and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external consumers with a focus on exceptional customer service delivery;
- Ensure patient records, results and other related documents are current, appropriately labelled and correctly filed;
- Provide support and training to other members of the Administration Support team as required;
- Fulfil required corporate, mandatory and professional development and competency requirements within stipulated timelines;
- Accept individual responsibility and accountability for own performance and professional development;
- Accept and adhere to all policies and procedures of Mater and your employment location;
- Undertake other duties/responsibilities as directed by your direct Reporting Authority or other designated authority(s).
- Certificate III in Health Administration, or similar
- Experience in providing administrative support in a medical setting is highly desired
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Proficient in written and interpersonal communication
