We are excited to offer this full-time opportunity to join our Community Nursing and Palliative Care team as the Administrative Assistant, based in beautiful Point Lonsdale. This role reports to the Nurse Manager and provides assistance within our professional, dedicated and supportive Nursing team.

About the roleThe Community Nursing and Palliative Care team comprises around 35 dedicated and professional staff who provide high standard nursing care to people in their homes and other community settings and are passionate about enabling patients to maintain quality of life.
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing efficient and effective administrative support to the Community Nursing and Palliative Care team to facilitate streamlined service delivery. The position has a key role in providing administrative support to service access and other general management functions.
We would like to hear from you if you have:- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience responding to phone calls and emails from clients and providers (in a medical environment preferred).
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build positive relationships and work in a team environment.
- High level of skill in administration tasks, and of accountability.
- A commitment to quality improvement.
- High level competency in MYOB, Microsoft Office, and Client Management Systems.
