Tasmania is part of a nationwide program of work that is delivering innovations in the treatment of Eating Disorders. The Tasmania Eating Disorder Service (TEDS) is a new service, that will deliver integrated specialist care for adults with an Eating Disorder. This includes Community-Based Intensive Treatment (CBIT) Programs in the North, North West and South and a statewide and Residential Recovery Program (RRP).We are looking for people with a passion and an interest in helping our clinicians to support people with Eating Disorders.The Administrative Assistant - Tasmanian Eating Disorder Service (TEDS) will:
- Provide day to day administrative support to TEDS.
- Contribute towards optimal administrative and business support processes at the local level.
- Provide specialised administrative support for the TEDS, clarify clients/relatives for registration details and update the computerised record.
- Liaise with other Mental Health Services personnel as well as external agencies and stakeholders.
- Typing of administrative and clinical correspondence and reports.
- Maintain statistical collection for the TEDS.
- Provide administrative support to Service site staff involving organising appointments, daily lists and retrieval of client files and other duties as required.
- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
