Role:
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- High levels of communication skills, displaying professionalism;
- The ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders, members of the school community, students, families, teaching staff and the local community and our dedicated and caring school office team;
- Proven ability to work harmoniously within a team environment;
- Display confidentiality, tact, reliability and sensitivity to students and their families;
- Have the ability to quickly understand our operations, standards and processes.
- Undertake routine activities including client services, student services, correspondence, administration tasks, maintaining school records, processing mail and emails.
Undertake routine activities consisting of customer service/reception (telephone and counter enquiries) arranging appointments;
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders (eg school & departmental staff, parents, students & community members).;
- Provide information and advice in line with school policies and/or Principal directives;
Processing payments both from external parties and students;
- Invoicing as required and processing student refunds;
- Assisting to address staff finance queries, including financial policies and procedures;
- Support consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the Principal, Deputy Principals and Business Manager.
An ideal candidate will possess:
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills;
- Proven ability to work within a team;
- OneSchool and IDattend knowledge is highly desired;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word;
- Successful applicants must be prepared to undertake a Criminal History Check and hold a valid Working with Children Blue Card.
