The opportunities

We have two roles on offer, both of which are considered the ‘glue’ for their respective portfolios of work.

Each role provides central coordination and management of key administrative tasks that keep the People & Communications (P&C) Business Group or the Human Resource Services (HRS) team running smoothly and contribute to a vibrant team culture. 

The positions

Administrative Support Officer - P&C

The role offers a variety of activities, the autonomy (and support) to get things done and lets you use your expertise and judgement to:

  • Coordinate the submission of business group reports, budgets and periodic returns.
  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, take and distribute meeting minutes, and maintain records
  • Coordinate and promote general events, training and other activities
  • Prepare purchase orders, process invoices and reconcile credit card expenditure.
  • In conjunction with others, convert information and data gathered via workshops/meetings into presentations, plans, schedules, graphs, reports and so on.
  • Maintain business group content on our intranet
  • As primary back-up for the CEO’s Administrative Officer, where needed provide Administrative Support for Board and Board subcommittee meetings.              

This full-time role is offered for 14 months as a maternity backfill

Administrative Support Officer - HRS

Working in partnership with our HR Business Partners you will be responsible for the management of end-to-end employment related administrative processes.  You will:

  • Manage data and information within human resource systems (e.g. recruitment and payroll)
  • Respond to enquiries and liaise with external people and companies
  • Generate and workflow, letters, emails, approval notices, and so on
  • Work closely with the payroll team to ensure all relevant information is provided for internal movement of staff, and the commencement of new staff
  • Liaise with our IT department when required
  • Provide support to the Recruitment Advisor, WHS Advisor and HR Business Partners as needed
  • Support a comprehensive onboarding experience for new employees
  • Ensure robust compliance by adhering to policies, procedures and applicable legislation.

This full-time role is offered on a permanent basis

The total remuneration package for this position starts from $65,000 per annum plus superannuation.
