The role:
- This position contributes to the successful positioning of the Quality and Patient Safety Service (QPSS) South to provide high quality, accountable and measurable healthcare, both internally and externally, by:
- Providing a range of customer-focused support and information services related to the Quality and Patient Safety Service (QPSS) South.
- Providing high level Administrative Support to the Stream Manager and staff assigned to the Quality and Patient Safety Service (QPSS) South in relation to the role’s duties.
- Undertaking secretariat support to a range of high level committees which support the operations of Hospitals South Executive.

The team:
- Safe and compassionate care is the foundation of all services at the Hospitals South.
- The Quality & Patient Safety (QPSS) South supports and strengthens clinical governance within Hospitals South by providing expertise and assistance expert advice and support to each of the service groups and facilities.
- Core functions of the Quality and Patient Safety Service (QPSS) South are safety event management, quality assurance, accreditation, consumer engagement, consumer feedback, quality improvement, risk management and education.
Details of Appointment
Permanent, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $71,661 to $77,455 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
Eligibility:

- Current Driver’s Licence
- Certificate III or IV in business administration or similar
