About the Role…
The primary purpose of this position is for the Clean Energy Specialist Support Officer to offer end-to-end wrap around support and guidance to Australian Apprentices entering Clean Energy occupations, in line with BUSY At Work’s, B Green specialist Australian Apprenticeship Support Services (AASS) contract. This role will be responsible for understanding the renewables and Clean Energy sectors and with industry support, marketing these new skills and occupations to apprentices, jobseekers, employers and other stakeholders.
This role is full time, fixed term for 2 years with possibility of extension, based anywhere in TAS with the ability to travel when required throughout the state.

A bit about you...
- A trade qualification or demonstrated experience working within the Clean Energy sector (or associated industries) will be highly regarded
- An extensive understanding of the Clean Energy renewables sectors, including knowledge of emerging technologies, job opportunities, industry trends, and skill requirements.
- Familiarity, with Australian Apprenticeship programs, including apprenticeship pathways, training providers, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining business relationships with a range of stakeholders, but with a particular focus on Unions, Industry Bodies and Employers.
- Previous experience in business development, marketing, or promotional activities to achieve KPIs and business targets.
- Ability to obtain a Working With Children Check/Blue Card and National Police Check
