We seek an experienced Administrator to join a trusted and well-established accounting firm in the Brisbane CBD. Offering a premium salary for the right candidate, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator to take the next step in their career.

About the Position:
Whilst not exhaustive, the Administrator is primarily responsible for:​​​​

  • Answering and directing phone calls, emails, and other correspondence
  • Scheduling appointments and meetings between clients and employees, and managing multiple calendars
  • Processing incoming and outgoing mail
  • Typing, including dictations
  • Maintaining and updating a variety of filing systems, databases, and records
  • Performing general office duties, such as ordering supplies, maintaining office equipment, running staff meetings, and keeping a tidy and organised workspace.
  • Internal project management, and assisting the Director in meeting firm targets and KPIs
  • Invoicing and collections

As part of this role, you will deal directly with clients and government organisations (such as ATO & ASIC).

The Ideal Candidate: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in an administrative or support role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs; experience with accounting software such as Xero will be highly regarded
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Preferably able to type 55 words per minute
