Adminstration Officer - Exports

Our client is a Leading Australian Export Company who have been established for over 40 years.  Currently based in modern corporate offices close to Chatswood railway station, they will be moving to Thornleigh in the 2nd half of this year (parking available).  

Working as an integral part of a small divisional team, this is a varied an interesting position working to timeframes coordinating export documentation based on customer requirements and shipping schedules.  Your duties will include:

• Processing supplier invoices
• Processing export permits
• Obtaining Health Certificates
• Preparing forwarding instructions for shipping companies
• Ensuring documents are received from external stake holders in a timely manner
• Processing customer invoices
• Ensuring accounts receive copies of all relevant documentation
• Liaise with both internal staff members and external stakeholder i.e. customers, suppliers, shipping copies, Department of Agriculture etc
• Scanning & filing

To be considered for this position you will ideally have:

• Strong administrative background with excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise
• High attention to detail & strong communication skills (both written & verbal)
• Good numeracy skills
• Excellent computers skills with experience using Excel
• Experience in export or logistics industry highly regarded but not essential. Willing to train the right persons with an administration background who is eager to learn

This is a permanent full-time office-based position with hours being 9.00am to 5.00pm.  The salary guide is up to $80,000 + Super dependent on experience.
