Our client is a leading training provider in the beauty sector, operating six campuses across Queensland. Providing full-time and part-time fully accredited courses in hairdressing, beauty therapy, nail technology, barbering and massage, they are committed to providing quality education and practical training through a clinic environment.
The Role
As the Admissions Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the student journey. You will process all student enrolments, ensuring all student information is accurate and all required documentation and financial or funding information is provided.
The Admissions Coordinator is the conduit between pre-enrolment (sales) and training stages of the student journey and is responsible for ensuring that all students are set up for a positive experience.
This is a causal role with full-time hours for 3 months, with the view to extend into a permanent position. This is a fully remote position (Work from Home).
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain current knowledge of VET standards and legislation including ESOS, Vet Student Loans and User Choice
- Ensure full compliance with all RTO and ESOS standards and State and Federal Government funding contracts
- Review all student enrolment information and documentation for accuracy
- Enter all enrolment information into aXcelerate
- Enrol student into correct class, location, course in aXcelerate
- Review SRTO notification form and complete accordingly
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all student data
- Participate in any business-wide projects as required
The Successful Candidate
- Extensive experience as a user of the aXcelerate student management system
- Extensive experience within the admissions function of an RTO
- Knowledge of the VET sector and federal and state Government funding arrangements
- Extensive knowledge and experience managing student data
- Strong internal and external relationship development skills
- Strong computer (Database, Microsoft Applications) skills
- A high level of attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to deal confidently with staff at all levels
- Excellent customer service orientation
