ROLE OVERVIEW
The Admissions and Compliance Coordinator is responsible for the Admissions and government reporting for the T&D Division. The role requires the candidate to manage and assess applications of prospective students (domestic and international) accurately and promptly, and coordinate the regulatory reporting of data. This is a full-time on-campus role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Manage and assess student applications for domestic and International students, adhering to the regulatory requirements of the Department of Home Affairs, Department of Education, and Federal and State funding bodies.
- Maintain accurate student data in the student database and ensure database processes relating to admissions procedures are adhered to
- Process information and student record-related transactions - provide factual advice ensuring confidentiality, security, and integrity of information is maintained in line with legislative compliance requirements
- Undertake basic investigative tasks about escalated enquiries where required and further escalate any complex enquiries or feedback
- Coordinate and manage student files, offer letters and CoE for each trimester
- Coordinate the refund process to ensure that they are processed promptly
- Extract data as required for internal and external reporting purposes
- Review and collaborate with the Accounts Officer to ensure accurate issuance/re-issuance of invoices relating to student tuition fees
- Ensure all invoicing processes accurately follow protocols and government funding regulatory requirements
- Initiate and implement reporting through PRISMS for non-compliance in terms of financial obligations
- Collate and present Admissions Transparency Data for review Maintain the calendar of reporting activities for the T&D Division,to ensure that all regulatory deadlines are met
- Any other administrative duties as required
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in Australian VET and/or Higher Education sectors
- Experience in data extraction and management
- Understanding of government reporting requirements and admissions processes
- Evidence of studying at AQF Level 4 or higher
