We have an exciting opportunity for Admissions Officer to be part of our team at Swinburne University, Sydney in our Paramatta office. The Admissions Officer is responsible for processing all states of the admission process from application to arrival. This role is a key position in the recruitment process ensuring all outcomes are communicated quickly and accurately to relevant stakeholders.As a key member of the team, you will have the rewarding opportunity to progress your career within the education industry. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company and is self-motivated and an enthusiastic 'go-getter'. Key Responsibilities:
- Create and approve COES.- Issue offers.- Communicate with agents. - Communicate with other staff (recruitment, finance, marketing, campus)- Post intake activity e.g., Deferrals / cancellations- Data entry / cleaning- Sharing recommendations for process improvement- Conduct academic and & English assessment.- Conduct GTE assessment.- Undertake projects as required by the Admissions Leadership team.As the successful candidate you will ideally have experience:
The international education sector.An international admissions team in AustraliaAcademic assessmentWorking with multiple stakeholdersUnderstanding of relevant regulatory requirements including but not limited to the ESOS Act and National Code- Understanding of education qualifications and how to assess them.SKILLS:
- Confidence in decision making.- Strong communication / English skills- Technology capable (does not need training on how to use Microsoft tools)- Fast learner (will need to learn internal systems)- Attention to detail / accuracy.- Can work independently. In return we will offer you:
