Access theThe RoleAn opportunity has become available for an Advanced Trainee / Fellow (Nuclear Medicine Radiology) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You will
- Provide Medical Imaging services for inpatients and outpatients as appropriate
- Assist with registrar teaching/training. Participate in other teaching when required
- Contribute to and support clinical unit improvement activities, through identifying areas for improvement and participating in implementation
- Assist with the collation and coordination of clinical attendance at Clinical, Academic and Multidisciplinary Meetings throughout the Hospital as required
- A Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery degree or equivalent
- AHPRA Registration
- Successful completion of Part II FRANZCR exams, FRACP exams or equivalent and completion of all necessary registrar training
- Appropriate radiation licence issued by the Radiation Health Unit, Queensland Health
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)
