SalaryAbout us ; The Condobolin Argus is a 16 page community owned tabloid newspaper located in Condobolin in the Central West of NSW (100ks west of Parkes).
The Condobolin Argus publishes each Wednesday and circulates throughout the towns and villages of the Lachlan Shire and to Trundle, Tullamore, Euabalong, Ivanhoe, Cobar, Parkes, West Wyalong, Hermidale, Nyngan, Nymagee and Mt. Hope.
We are seeking an Advertising Sales person to work with local and regional business to develop advertising features and general advertising.

The Role:
- Selling advertising - $32 to $35 per hour-casual- 16 hrs a week.
- Scanning newspapers ( Land, Lake News, Western Mag) for potential leads.
- Developing Features- e.g. Back to School, Valentines Day, Easter, Mothers Day. EOFY, Tax Time etc. and approaching business via phone or email to participate.
- Work from homes on email and phone.
Qualifications and Experience.
- Previous Advertising Sales experience preferred but not essential
- Confident and outgoing personality with good phone manner
- Willing to “have a go” develop ideas for feature etc.
- Experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop preferred.
- Police Check mandatory
