We are looking for career minded individuals interested in transitioning to the Advice industry. This role is a pathway to becoming a qualified Financial Risk Adviser with full support in learning, mentoring and study assistance. As a pivotal learning and support role you will report directly to the Managing Director, initially learning everything from the ground up in a hybrid role of Adviser support as well as Paraplanning, with a large focus on external communication with clients, referrers and insurers as well as internal staff.
  
A brief snapshot of the role will involve:

  • Gathering and coordinating client information, including all key documentation such as Statements of Advice
  • Researching client data and formulating draft strategies
  • Preparing and attending client meetings, contributing to strategies and analysis to support the Advisers
  • Maintaining client database and insurance quoting systems
  • Managing claims for clients, liaising with insurers ensuring for best outcomes
  • Taking enquiries from Accountants & Financial Planners

About you
  
Ideally you will have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Financial Services, Commerce, Health or other relevant business discipline
  • Client facing skills gained from a variety of experience (sales, consulting, relationship management, case management or health environment).
  • A self-development orientation and passion for learning
  • A willingness to undertake commit to further study including a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning and completing a professional year, in order to become a qualified Adviser
  • An analytical approach and high attention to detail
  • Experience in working within tight timeframes and meeting deadlines
  • Curiosity and an inquisitive, helpful nature which in underpinned in a deep level of compassion and empathy
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication, well-presented
Overall life experience and a willingness and commitment to learn is what is required in ideal candidates.
