A unique opportunity has been presented to work with one of Melbourne’s busiest and most proactive wealth management teams as an Advisor / Investment Assistant. Our tier one client is looking to partner with a wealth management professional who has experience in either back-office wealth management operations or are currently an Advisor / Investment Assistant who are looking for a new opportunity, to partner with a team who are known for their positive industry reputation and client delivery.
They are open to meet with and support professionals who are looking to calve a career as an Advisor / Investment Assistant or with professionals who are looking to move into an associate advisor opportunity in the years to come.
Key Responsibilities:
- Swift and timely responding to all client queries.
- Build professional relationships with all stakeholders.
- Accurate execution of adviser and client requests.
- Administrative duties including trade settlements, account opening, reconciliations, ensuring all client records are compliant, maintain the CRM.
- Reporting on outstanding settlements and manage account debtor and credit balances.
- Provide effective and timely management of settlement obligations including funds and/or securities due, margin calls, stock transfers, cash transfers; corporate action management; facilitation of order execution; IPO and Placement coordination.
- Team liaison with other advisors and internal departments.
- Assisting with client functions and meetings.
- Liaison point for external platforms.
- Other tasks / projects as directed
To be successful in the role you will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications, preferably in Finance, Commerce or Business.
- Experience working in a team and autonomously.
- RG146 accredited preferred but not a must have.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Wealth Management preferred.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with Ultra high-net-worth individuals.
- High level of planning and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Have worked in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook.
