We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Registered Nurse to take on the After Hours coordination at our Fitzroy campus. Reporting to the Clinical Operations Manager this role is responsible for the safe running of the campus, overseeing staffing, bed management and any emergent situation that may arise. It requires an experienced RN who is able to manage a variety of situations in a safe manner, and does require the successful applicant to work solo, and reporting to the Hospital Executive after-hours.Key Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- To act as a resource and support person to all nursing staff, medical staff and all hospital personnel on duty.
- Coordination of all out of hours admissions to the hospital, ensuring appropriate health funding and clinical resources are available.
- To manage nursing levels and the Resource staffing After Hours
- Act as Hospital Emergency Coordinator in the event of Emergency
- To assume responsibility for Hospital Executive in their absence
