About the role
We are seeking a dedicated person for our After Hours Support Worker position! The aim of this role is to provide a high quality support service to participants undergoing rehabilitation at Harry Hunter and to promote and provide a safe, caring and supportive environment in line with TSA values.
Responsibilities include
- Ensuring continuity of client care, progress and outcomes of case plans are monitored and clearly communicated to relevant staff for handover
- Keeping accurate, up to date client records and ensuring data is maintained including administrative requirements
- Establishing effective work relationships and maintaining regular communication with key staff, case managers, and other stakeholders
- Monitoring building activity and security via CCTV and proactively managing grounds while respecting the rights and privacy of residents and their visitors
- Providing an immediate and appropriate response to incidents that impact on resident safety and security in accordance with site policies and procedure; including critical incidents and emergencies
- Ensuring that centre guidelines, policies and procedures are always adhered to, and any breaches are reported to Manager immediately
This is a Casual position, based in Gosnells, WA. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Level 3 Award.
What you will have
- Experience in an AOD and/or mental health setting
- Minimum Diploma (or currently enrolled in) in community services, AOD or mental health
- Driver's Licence
