Workpower are searching for some passionate, creative and supportive Kalgoorlie locals who are ready to make a difference and assist with our School Holiday Program.
About the role
Being a part of Workpower's School Holiday Program involves working with children and young people with a disability from the ages of 7 to 17, supporting them to participate in a range of fun and inclusive activities.
The program will be running through the July School Holidays on the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 8th, 10th and 12th of July from 7:30am to 4:30pm. While availability over all of these dates would be fantastic, it is not necessary. We are flexible on the days and times you are able to participate.
About you
- Experience supporting young people with a disability is highly regarded, however not necessary
- A positive attitude
- An inclusive approach and enjoy supporting people to achieve their goals.
- Hold a valid NDIS Workers Screening or willingness to obtain
- Hold a valid Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
- Hold a valid First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
