Form of workDue to large-scale continued growth at Sanitarium, we have some exciting opportunities for Casual Food Process Workers to join our manufacturing team in our Meal Division at Berkeley Vale.
We are looking for people who are available to work Monday,Tuesday & Wednesday afternoon. Working within our down to earth and tight knit meals team.
Work Hours: 2pm-11.30pm
The Role
Reporting to the Team Leader, the purpose of this role is to support production processes, while ensuring quality and safety are maximised.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
- Packing product.
- Completing quality checks.
- Data entry and completion of production paperwork.
- Safely operate manufacturing equipment and ensure production lines are running smoothly.
- Moving of materials and good housekeeping.
- Basic trouble shooting of equipment.
- Other general duties.
Skills and Experience
The following are essential criteria for the successful candidate:
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Ability to stay focused, attention to detail and use initiative.
- Ability to perform repetitive manual handling tasks.
- Awareness and commitment to workplace food and people safety.
- Experience working with Food is advantageous however what is more important to us is the ability to be a strong team player and work autonomously when required.
