At Canterbury Technical Institute, we are committed to providing students with placements in Aged Care facilities to support their learning in the classroom.
Position Overview:
As an Aged Care Placement Coordinator, your role will involve assessing the needs of students, coordinating with various care facilities, and providing suitable placements within the facilities.
We are seeking an individual who possesses the following attributes:
- Strong connections within the community services industry.
- Proficiency in liaising with facilities and companies to secure placements for students.
- Confidence in cold-calling companies to initiate inquiries.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and empathy to assist students with the necessary documentation required for their placements.
- Proficiency in computer literacy, as the majority of communication will occur via email and phone.
- Availability to travel to various sites as needed to meet and engage with potential placement facilities.
- Excellent communication skills in order to liaise with students and trainers in order to secure suitable placement
Days / Hours of work:
- 3 days per week (22.5 hours per week)
